The planning board for the Town of Rockwell is composed of eleven members. Five members are residents of the Town and are appointed by the Board of Aldermen of the Town. Six members are residents of the extraterritorial jurisdictional area (outside the corporate limits of the Town) and are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners. The terms of all members appointed by each governing body have overlapping terms of three years.

Meetings
Regular meetings of the Planning Board are held on the first Monday night of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Rockwell Town Hall.
