The Legion Building offers an upper & lower level that are available for rental. Alcohol may be served at this location if the proper permits are obtained through the Town.
Upper Level: 150 people, $250 rental, $100 security deposit (refundable).
Lower Level: 80 people, $75 rental, $50 security deposit (refundable).
The Rowan County Board of Elections has approved the Legion Building for the Town voting precinct and early voting location. This is an easily accessible building with plenty of parking.
The upper level consist of a large banquet room with a kitchen area. The maximum capacity is 150 people. This is ideal for wedding receptions, anniversary functions, reunions, etc. The upper level may be rented for a fee of $250.00, plus a $100.00 refundable security deposit, this shall be refunded after the building has been inspected by the Town and the key is returned by 5:00 p.m. the next business day.
The lower level maximum capacity is 80 people. The lower level is ideal for family functions or receptions that are to big for the Civic Center, but not large enough to justify rental of the upper level. The lower level may be rented for a fee of $75.00, plus a $50.00 refundable security deposit, this shall be refunded after the building has been inspected by the Town and the key is returned by 5:00 p.m. the next business day.
